As a former military spouse and mother of four—two of whom serve in the Navy and Air Force—Tamika understands the unique emotions children face when a loved one is away.

Her debut book, My Daddy is on Deployment, was born from personal experience, offering comfort and understanding to children coping with separation. Through her writing, Tamika strives to provide a sense of connection, resilience, and hope for families facing similar situations.

With a background in Digital Communications, Tamika blends her creative storytelling with a deep understanding of how to connect with audiences in a meaningful way.
